Document Remediation / WCAG / PDF Accessibility Expert – Remote

Job Description

· Must have worked a minimum of 1 Year in a publishing company serving international publishers for Accessible PDF output with Accessible features.

· Capable of analysis, creating workflow documents and process metrics.

· Should know about WCAG2.1/PDF/UA/ADA and Section 508 accessible compliance.

· Should know about Axes PDF quick fix and commonlook validator and PAC3 to validate the Remediated PDF.

· Should have experience in creating searchable PDFs using Abby fine reader.

· Should have PDF editing skills.

· Should know about semantic tagging in PDF.

· Should have knowledge of Assistive technology such as JAWS, NVDA, Voice Over and Adobe Read Out Loud.

· Should have Edited in Photoshop.

· Should know Abby Fine Reader.

· Should be capable of understanding project requirements.

· MS Word, MS Excel, and PPT Remediation will be added advantage.

· Should contribute to improving the process & quality of the deliverables.

Job Description

Must have at least five years experience of working with Microsoft Word.
Must have extensive experience of working with stylesheets and tables.
Excellent formatting/layout skills in MS Word.
Knowledge of OCR tools will be an additional advantage.
Extensive experience in working with MS Office.
Should be able to manage a team.

About the Internship: Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on collaborating with the SEO copywriter to write content such as titles, Meta tags and creating/updating SEO copy across various owned brand websites. SEO, SMO

2. Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.

3. Work on conducting competitive intelligence research, creating backlinks, and performing analysis of competitors.

4. Creating high quality backlinks, forum submission, article submission, guest posting and profile creation.

4. Design, build and maintain our social media presence.
